greek nights
With the local Young Adult League chapter, James was an integral part in planning, booking, promoting, and executing a series of Greek Night events. This involved booking a venue, finding and booking Greek DJs, designing promotional material, developing a menu and managing catering, promoting the event, and day-of running of the event. All four of these events were very successful, with 75-100 in attendance in a small venue, bringing in $200-600 in nightly profits, depending on costs.
90.7 WXIN EVENTS
As Promotions Director and Sales Director, James was an essential part in planning events for 90.7 WXIN. Local bars and lounges were booked, and radio station personnel was selected to DJ the events. These events occasionally were filled to capacity, creating the need for a line at the door, which remained until the events were finished. These events earned $100-500 in revenue nightly.
