James applied for an internship at Crisloid in September of 2013, for which he was accepted. Shortly after his start, it was made known that he had a confirmed position at the company upon completion of the internship. His roles were originally minimal, simply designing posts for the company's social media. He quickly developed and applied skills in other areas, taking on photography responsibilities, web design, product design, marketing, sales, and advertising. Within months, the brand's image better reflected a luxury product.

Positions Held
Later taking on the position of Production Director, James shifted his design expertise to the sonic form. In this position, he was responsible for the recording and production of all on-air material, training all on-air announcers and production assistants, and assisted in the maintenance and purchase of WXIN equipment. In this stay, he learned and became proficient in Adobe Audition. Taking on a new challenge, James went for and filled the position of Sales Director. In this position, he is responsible for making advertising sales, executing all internal and external promotions, accumulating station revenue, booking the DJ service, carrying on all WXIN correspondence, and directly supervising the Promotions Directors. James has attended the annual College Music Journal conference in NYC on 90.7 WXIN's behalf three times. Here, he attended panels regarding the music, radio, and communications industries; attended concerts featuring many rising acts to better gauge the music industry; and networked with musicians, communications firms, and record companies. |
metropolis of boston camp
Camp Counselor: February 2010 - present
For six weeks in the summer, as well as several weekends throughout the year, James serves as a Camp Counselor at the Metropolis of Boston Camp in Contoocook, NH. Campers ages 8-18 attend for one-week sessions, split up into age-appropriate cabins. As a counselor, he works with the camp staff as a whole in the planning and execution of all program activities. On a smaller level, he works with his weekly co-staff of 2-3 others to guide the cabin of campers. Leadership skills, the ability to work with youth, counseling skills, and more are all required and developed as a counselor. |

Promotions Director: June 2013 - present
Using his previous experience as Promotions Director, James applies these skills to the communications efforts of Anchor TV. His roles include designing flyers and promotional materials, maintaining the positive image of Anchor TV, and keeping the public updated on Anchor TV's efforts. |
